Artistic Development work with theatre artists, companies and writers in the generation and progression of their ideas. The department is the starting point for much of the National Theatre of Scotland’s artistic output.

Working with the Project Manager or Literary Manager on placement, you will develop insight to the running of the department by shadowing the team in meetings with artists and gain practical experience in delivering development activity.

You will have the opportunity to connect with theatre makers and producers. We will also help you identify specific personal development opportunities.
