National Theatre of ScotlandThe National Theatre of Scotland is seeking to appoint a new Head of Stage as part of the Technical Department.

They will be responsible for a range of areas, including scenery, staging and rigging, and will ensure that all National Theatre of Scotland productions are delivered to the highest standard.

Working across the full range of National Theatre of Scotland activities, the successful candidate will be expected to control budgets, manage equipment and company resources, provide support and information in advance to future projects and continued support to previous projects.

The post requires an active involvement in the setting up of shows including fit-ups, technical rehearsals and get-outs in venues across Scotland and further afield. As a result, the Head of Stage will be asked to spend some time away from home.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon, Monday 11th February 2013
